May I ask why you didn’t just piece all these blocks instead of using paper piecing?
No special reason – it was just a technique choice. If you prefer hand or machine piecing that’s the technique you should use. Remember – it’s your quilt!
I have come to really dislike the paper piecing because I have to pre-cut all the pieced then sew them together and re-cut every seam, then remove all the papers. As a result, my hands ache from all the extra work to get precise seams. As a result, I am measuring more carefully to be right the first time and I purchased the Accqu-guilter gadgetry and am figuring that all out, except you still have to pre-cut 4 inch strips to run through it.

Have I missed something? I can’t seem to find the Just Takes 2 blocks for Aug 15th. I can’t find the Dear Jane blog either. It is a puzzlement.
